CICC hosts annual seminar(s) at nominated Asian country(s) to introduce implemented cases of IT utilization in Japan, that matches-up with local needs, and to promote exchanging ideas with local IT-relevant Ministries, Agencies, Associations and personnel.
CICC and MIC (Viet Nam) co-hosted a joint seminar, after three years absence due to COVID-19 pandemic, in Viet Nam/Hanoi on12th October, 2022 under the theme of “Viet Nam-Japan DX Forum on Inclusive Digital Society”. The forum started off with opening remarks by MIC Deputy minister, H.E. Nguyen Huy Dung and by Mr. Koichiro URABE of CICC, and with VIP greetings from Mr. Matsumoto of Embassy of Japan in Viet Nam followed by keynote speeches from MIC (Viet Nam), MIC(Japan), Digital Agency (Japan), and by presentations from IT firms from both countries (4 from Japan and 3 from Viet Nam). Turnout counted total of 128 attendants from 60 associations/entities to the seminar.
After the seminar event, an individual meetup session with H.E. Nguyen Huy Dung along with MIC leaders was set where we reconfirmed consistent and continuous cooperation toward inclusive digital society.
